RAY celebrates sacred feminine wisdom aligning us with justice, truth, and beauty.
We create encounters with the Feminine Principle through contemplation, invocation, and meditation.
Feminine Wisdom Highlights
Sheikha Helawy shares her latest book celebrating the courage, resilience, tragedies and triumphs of Bedouin Palestinian women and girls. Also with translator Nancy Roberts and Arabic co-host Amira Abd El-Khalek.
Rabbi Robyn Ashworth-Steen, Rev Canon Dr Rachel Mann and Melody Moezzi discuss how disability and tradition helps us to embody the sacred in our life and to connect with our body.
Mevlevi Sufi teacher Camille Helminski sharing the weaving of traditions from Navajo, Christian and Islamic prayers, the call of the Feminine within nature, and a meditation with the breath.

At RAY we believe that spirituality which embraces and integrates the feminine can:
- awaken consciousness and balanced living
- bring the feminine and masculine into alignment
- inspire creativity and nurture human expression
- promote service, mature activism, and responsible stewardship of the earth.

We offer this work through:
- an annual festival with a wide range of speakers focussing on feminine spiritual wisdom
- small retreats to facilitate a deeper, more balanced spirituality
- bringing faith practitioners together to explore sacred tradition and texts from a feminine perspective
- supporting conscious activism and youth faith programmes that nurture spiritual growth.
While we are women-led and women-centred, we welcome all our siblings to join us in creating more inclusive, compassionate spaces.

Our logo design has been inspired by many symbols:
- Triangle of creation (God, Woman, Man, Human), an ancient symbol of wisdom
- Pyramid of sacred rites
- Circles of masculine and feminine energy overlapping creating the vesica piscis
- Rays of light on the horizon
- Arrow-head orienting a spiritual warrior
- Soul emerging out of a prism of light
- Vulva, Yoni, sacred womb portal

Love Notes
“Your retreat was a treasure beyond all measure, with collaboration, inclusion and vulnerability shared in a most rare and sacred human way; and the committed nature of your souls, hearts and seeking in God, so true and real.”
BETH
“Sisters of heart and spirit weaving a tapestry of connections. Simply sharing wisdom, song, and prayer; raising awareness of that which is necessary and reframing that from which recovery and resilience is necessary.”
ADILA
“Deep gratitude for the beautiful gathering you created. I was very moved by all the people you gathered and the deep attention, care, and detail that you placed into everything.”
